About the position

Hacktiv is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Manager to oversee operations, drive strategic growth, and lead our team in PH. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience managing operations in an IT company, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the technology sector.

Job Responsibilities

• > Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth and market presence in the Philippines
• > Represent Hacktiv at local industry events, client meetings, and partnerships, establishing the company as a leader in the IT and technology space.
• > Foster a high-performance culture within the local team, ensuring alignment with Hacktiv’s mission and values.
• > Oversee daily business operations, including HR, finance, logistics, and project execution.
• > Ensure operational efficiency by implementing best practices and streamlining workflows.
• > Manage and optimize budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
• > Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Hacktiv’s presence and clientele.
• > Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to foster partnerships and collaborations.
• > Lead negotiations and close contracts for IT solutions and services.
• > Recruit, train, and mentor a talented and motivated local team.
• > Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• > Promote collaboration and communication across teams to achieve company objectives.
• > Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• > Prepare and present reports to Hacktiv’s global leadership, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities.

Job Qualifications

• > Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management within an IT company.
• > Proven leadership and team management experience.
• > Strong understanding of the IT and technology industry in the Philippines
• > Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• > Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• > Proficiency in operational tools, reporting systems, and budgeting.
• > Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• > Experience in business development and client management.
• > Familiarity with PH-specific regulations, taxation, and market dynamics.
• > Strategic Thinking: Ability to craft and execute plans that align with Hacktiv’s long-term goals.
• > Adaptability: Ability to navigate the fast-paced and ever-evolving IT landscape.
